Kamal K. Cooper is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong background in construction management, estimating, and quality control. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, he has successfully led multimillion-dollar projects across the Bahamas and the United States, specializing in commercial, hospitality, residential, and government infrastructure developments.
Kamal has played a pivotal role in delivering high-profile projects, including the Baha Mar Jazz Bar renovation, Exuma Airport, and Jet Nassau, ensuring seamless execution while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. His expertise lies in project scheduling, cost control, procurement, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, making him an invaluable asset in overseeing complex construction operations.
In addition to his leadership in project management, Kamal is a certified Construction Quality Control Manager with experience on U.S. Navy projects at AUTEC Base in Andros, overseeing large-scale demolitions, military housing, and asbestos remediation. His ability to develop and implement quality control plans, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with industry standards has contributed to the successful completion of numerous projects.
Kamal holds a Master’s in International Construction Engineering from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering and Technology from Florida A&M University.
